Spicy Orange Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 cups Cascadian Farm™ organic multi grain cereal squares, finely crushed (about 1 1/4 cups crushed)
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1 pound uncooked deveined peeled large shrimp, thawed if frozen, with tails left on
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Dip:
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Line large cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.
  2. In shallow dish, mix flour and salt. In another shallow dish, mix cereal, sesame seed and orange peel until well mixed.
  3. In 1-quart bowl, beat eggs, soy sauce and 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce until well blended.
  4. Coat shrimp with flour mixture. Dip into egg mixture, coating well; coat in cereal mixture. Place shrimp on cookie sheet. Drizzle with butter.
  5. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until coating is golden brown and shrimp are pink.
  6. Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix Dip ingredients until well blended. Serve with shrimp.
